Directions: Bring 1 cups water and 1/8 tsp. salt (optional) to a boil. Add 1/2 cup of rolled oats, reduce heat and cook for 1 to 5 minutes (time depending on your desired consistency) stirring occasionally. Cover, remove from heat and let stand for a few minutes. Enjoy. Makes one servings. In a rush? Combine 1/2 cup oats and 1 cup water. Cover and microwave on high for 2 to 3 minutes. Let stand for two minutes. Store in a cool, dry place.
