This formula combines high quality fish, flax and borage oils, providing a balanced ratio of omega-3, omega-6, and omega-9. Which all play a critical role in cognitive health, brain function, and cardiovascular health. However, many people do not consume these 3 types of omegas in a healthy balance. This supplement is beneficial in ensuring the correct balances are delivered. The oil from the cold-water fish is a direct and usable source of the omega-3 eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). These healthy fats help to form the structure of all cell membranes while also playing important roles in the brain, eyes, nerves, and cardiovascular system. Flaxseed is a source of omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), while borage oil is rich in omega-6 gamma-linolenic acid (GLA).
