Biosteel hydration mix is formulated with the 5 essential electrolytes in fast absorbing forms and dosages for optimal, immediate hydration. The electrolytes it contains are; sodium to maintain body fluid balance and prevent cramping during physical activity, potassium for nerve signaling and muscle contraction, chloride which helps maintain proper fluid balance and blood pressure, calcium which is responsible for muscle contraction and normal heart rhythm, and lastly magnesium, which is critical for supporting muscle relaxation and helps support over 300 reactions within the body. Electrolytes are important as they have many roles within the body. Directions: Adults: Mix 1 scoop (7g), once daily well in 1-2 cups of liquid (water, juice etc.) immediately before consumption. You may alter your water levels in order to achieve your desired taste. Take with food, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products.
