Instructions: 
1. Soak pre-filter in cool water for ten minutes. 
2. Scrub top of pre-filter with cool water and a clean scrub sponge (do not use soap).
3. Install pre-filter into upper tank with one washer on either side of the opening tank.
4. Place nut on pre-filter stem and tighten snuggly.
