| Basic Automatic Laundry Soap Recipe: | |
| Soap Flakes (forces dirt out) | 1 cup |
| Washing Soda (cuts grease and softems water) | 1/2 cup |
| Borax (kills germs and whitens) | 1/2 cup |
| *Mix ingredients together and stir well. For regular loads: Measure 1/2 cup of mixture and add to cold water in your washing machine. You can also add 4 to 5 drops of your favorite essential oil to the wash water. Add clothes and wash, as per machine intructions, rinsing with cold water. | |
| *Presoak heavily soiled items in warm water with 1/2 cup washing soda for 30 minutes. Rub soiled areas with moistened soap flakes. |
