Directions: Adults (19 years and older) - Take 1 capsule per day. Take with food, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products. 400 mcg of folate per day is adequate for most women to reduce the risk of neural tube defects. Iron supplements can decrease the absorption of drugs such as • tetracycline • antibiotics • penicillamine • cefdinir • chloramphenicol • levothyroxine • levodopa • quinolone antibiotics. Therefore, doses of these medications should be spaced as far as possible. This product may interfere with certain laboratory tests (including testing for blood in stool) possibly causing false test results.
