Directions: Adults take 2 capsules once daily with food or as directed by your health care practitioner. Ensure fluid intake is maintained. For laxative action, take two to three times per week. If constipation is not relieved, the frequency of use may be increased up to once daily. Allow 6 to 12 hours for a laxative effect to occur.
Cautions and Warnings: Consult a health care practitioner if symotoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, licorice root, or other health products which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a kidney disorder, or are taking cardiac medications. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have faecal impaction or symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, or fever. Reduce dose or discontinue use if you experience abdominal pain, cramps spasms and/or diarrhea. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking blood thinner, undergoing hormone replacement therapy or taking birth control medicine. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have diabetes.
Contraindications: Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use if you have abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease (e.g. Crohn's disease or Ulcerative Colitis), abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes, hemorrhoids or diarrhea. Do not take within 2 hours of another medicine because the effectiveness of the other medicine may be altered. Do not use if you have systemic lupus erthematosus (SLE). Do not use if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family. For adult use only. Keep out of reach of children.
Known Adverse Reactions: Hypersensitivity, such as allergy, has been known to occur, in which case, discontinue use.
